Family Joy Through Health is a project I was able to work on with the support of the Laurie M Tisch Illumination fund as one of the nine awardees to paint a mural within a hospital or clinic, as part of the NeyYork Health and Hospitals Medicine and Arts Program, in collaboration with Residency Unlimited. This set of three murals was created directly in collaboration with a community clinic in Harlem, where they shared the concept of what they wanted to be represented and I could bring their ideas to life and lead a paint party where they could help paint it themselves.
